Wallsend, who lead the way based on quotient, host Merewether and Wests are at home to Belmont with winners keeping their Newcastle District Cricket Association one-day title hopes alive.
The logjam of teams follows results from Saturday's fourth round encounters.
Belmont (4-153) beat Wallsend (9-152) at Cahill Oval with captain Marcus Hainsworth making an unbeaten 90.
Merewether (9-157) defeated Newcastle City (107) at Townson Oval while Wests (246) easily accounted for winless Toronto (160) at Ron Hill Oval.
In pool A, Hamilton-Wickham (5-172) have all-but ensured they will have a shot at defending the silverware after chasing down Stockton (7-171) at Passmore Oval.
Charlestown (153), six points behind Hamwicks, restricted hosts University (126) with Jacob Richardson (5-29) the stand out.
Sudhanshu Gundeti's 99 was the difference for Cardiff-Boolaroo (7-208) against Waratah-Mayfield (181) at Pasterfield Sports Complex.
