First National Newcastle City's Luke Murdoch reported the fast exchange of a one-bedder on the sixth floor or Arena overlooking Newcastle beach. There were four offers before the 60 square metre apartment at A604/75 Shortland Esplanade sold for $725,000 withing its first week on the market.
Ben Robinson, of Robinson Property, has listed what he says is a "unique" offering in Arena. He is marketing a three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment at 302/75 Shortland Esplanade, which spans 175 square metres and was the amalgamation of two apartments when bought off the plan. It is open for the first time on Saturday at 11.30am. A price guide has not been disclosed.
He has reported the $1.4 million sale of a three-bedroom ground-floor apartment in harbourside Breakwater at 14/304 Wharf Road, the $1.95 million purchase of a three-bedroom first-floor apartment "without a view" at 2/21 Pacific Street in North Wing, and $605,000 for a two-bedroom residence on the eighth floor in Essington at 26 Pacific Street in its first week of marketing.
Raine & Horne have a three-bedroom apartment in Essington with a guide of $825,000 to $885,000 that is open for the first time today at midday.
