Connor Watson will do his "best" to be right for the blockbuster against Canberra but the Knights have a ready-made replacement in Andrew McCullough if the livewire hooker succumbs to an ankle inury.

Connor was forced from the field in the 10th minute of the Knights' 14-all draw with the Panthers on Sunday after he attempted a tackle on a runaway Villiame Kikau near the left touchline.
The dummy half tried to play on but couldn't stretch out and was by debutant Chris Randall.
"When I went in for the tackle, it was a bit weird, my ankle folded on itself," Watson explained. "It swelled up and I couldn't really get up on my toes, which means I couldn't run.
"The doctor didn't think it was worth needling. You can make those things worse and we are just starting the season again."
Watson will have scans on Monday but appears highly doubtful for the clash against the undefeated Raiders next Sunday.
"I will do the best I can to get it right for next week, but we don't know how bad it is," he said. "We will wait and see how the tests go."
Randall was outstanding on debut, but McCoullough will also come into contention joining the Knights from the Broncos last week.
Back-rower Lachlan Fitzgibbon is also a chance of being fit despite missing the Panthers stalemate with a strained hamstring.
