The former Wallsend, Cardiff-Boolaroo and Wests all-rounder was joined by Jason Sangha and Riley Ayre in the XI after playing the opening 12 rounds in seconds.
Randy Petes, who have also had the services of former Wests batsman Puru Gaur this season, went down to UNSW by three wickets.
Sharma scored 23 runs and later took a catch.
He rejoined Randy Petes last summer after prior stints in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
Sharma had his first taste of NSW Premier Cricket with UTS North Sydney in 2010-11 and again in 2013-14.
The former Newcastle under-19 representative made an SCG Country Cup century for Wests against Wallsend in 2013-14 and was part of the Rosellas' only T20 final appearance in 2011-12.
Sharma also helped Wallsend reach deciders for both the one-day and two-day competitions in 2006-07.
