* The lockdown is the state's fifth and comes in response to a growing coronavirus outbreak linked to cases who brought the virus from NSW.
* Travel restrictions are in place, with gatherings capped at two people and no visitors allowed to homes. There are only five reasons to leave the house including essential shopping and getting vaccinated.
* Greater Sydney remains in lockdown and NSW recorded 97 new local COVID-19 cases on Friday.
* Of the new cases, 46 people were in the community for at least some of their infectious period, including 29 who were circulating for the entire time. Premier Gladys Berejiklian has warned case numbers are expected to spike on the weekend.
