A man has died and a child was injured when they were thrown from a motorcycle at Raymond Terrace at the weekend.

Police said the 36-year-old was travelling with a six-year-old girl as his passenger when the bike hit a curb at the intersection of Bailey Avenue and Sailors Way about 2.45pm on Saturday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene but the man could not be saved.
Paramedics treated the child for minor injuries.
Police said in a statement that the motorcycle was not registered and the 36-year-old was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Investigators will prepare a report for the coroner.
