Former Wagga MP Daryl Maguire is due to make his first appearance at the current round of hearings and also his first public statement since the ICAC investigation into his conduct led to Gladys Berejiklian resigning as NSW premier.
On Wednesday, Department of Regional NSW secretary Gary Barnes told ICAC that staff were asked to move "quickly" to allow a $20.5 million announcement for Wagga's 2018 byelection campaign.
Ms Berejiklian has denied any wrongdoing, saying that she acted with integrity at all times, and is due to appear on Friday this week and Monday next week.
