When they found a vacant lot of land around 500 square metres in size on the shoreline of Throsby Creek in Tighes Hill it had instant appeal.
Taking full advantage of the water aspect was key when they had designs drawn up for their custom-built residence at 5 Sparke Street.

They could not have been happier with the result but have made the tough decision to relocate to New Zealand to be closer to family.
"It's only five years old and we absolutely adore it," Anne told Domain.
Downstairs is devoted to garaging, a large workshop, laundry and storage.
Upstairs open plan living feels like you are sitting on top of the water. A timber deck enjoys morning sun and serenity and is accessed from the kitchen and living and master suite. There are two further bedrooms in a separate wing of the home, which is surrounded by private gardens.
