Ms Crossingham, who had lived in Newcastle as a teenager, bought the New Lambton Heights home backing on to Blackbutt Reserve three years ago but "with a heavy heart" is now selling it to be closer to family in Sydney.
"I saw it online and I knew before I came in here that I wanted it," she said.
"I was born in the country and I like the trees and the fact that it's so private and yet it's pretty much all glass. You look out into the swimming pool on one side and you look out to the trees on the other. It's very private, it's quiet and it's like a little tropical oasis. I just love it. "

It had only had one previous owner since being built in the 1980s and Ms Crossingham has extensively updated the property to offer modern luxury living.
Tucked down a long driveway on 1940 square metres of land, it has the sense of being a million miles from anywhere.
Walls of glass and angular lines allow for ample natural light and bring the outdoors into every room.
There are three bedrooms in one wing of the house, including the master suite which features a stunning curved ensuite with a freestanding bath that looks out to bushland and immerses you in your surrounds.
Spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining is flanked by the solar-heated pool and the bush. Stairs in a glassed two-storey void lead to a large downstairs retreat with bathroom. The home is surrounded by established gardens, has no shortage of places to entertain or ponder and enjoys private access to Blackbutt. It also has a separate triple garage.
"It's very easy to live in it," Ms Crossingham said. "Some houses are a challenge but this house is really easy. The bedrooms are off at one end and the kitchen is fabulous with that big curved bench looking out onto the trees. Then there is the downstairs area; it just has a really nice feel."
The residence at 85 Lookout Road is being marketed by George Rafty, of First National Newcastle City, with a guide of $1.85 million to $1.95 million. It is open for inspection on Saturday from 1pm to 1.30pm.
