He has since become a recognised sideline broadcaster, alongside work in alcohol and drug abuse prevention, as well as notable participation in concussion research.
On the field, he was the hard-hitting forward responsible for one unforgettable, bone-shaking tackle on Craig Field in 1997, but off field he was the character who almost made a 1991 Tooheys beer promotion with the club unexpectedly and accidentally infamous.
