HIA Home Inspirations is a one-stop selection centre of the latest trends, building products and materials to help you connect, feel and see first-hand how your dream home could come to life. Whether you are building from scratch or redesigning what you already have, you will find ideas, inspiration and everything you need to get started there.
"Open seven days a week and anchored by some of Australia's leading brands the centre remains the largest home building and renovating display centre of its kind in New South Wales," HIA executive director for the Hunter Craig Jennion said. "In total over 500,000 people have come through the doors since the centre opened 12 years ago, providing those looking to build a new home or redesign what they already have with the ideas and inspiration to get started."
Showcasing the latest trends has been more difficult of late, with COVID-19 restricting the movement of people locally. To address this HIA has launched a 3D virtual model of the centre.
The virtual model has been designed to help Hunter home owners connect with the right products and people to make their dream home their real home. All you need to do is visit www.hia.com.au, search for Home Inspirations and follow the links to start walking through the centre from the comfort of your own home.
When browsing, visitors simply tick the display numbers on the virtual brochure request card and upon completion of a short questionnaire HIA will send brochures and relevant information directly to you.
"The HIA Home Inspirations centre has been open for 12 years providing ideas, inspiration, sharing knowledge and connecting Hunter home owners with the residential construction sector," Mr Jennion said.
"With the use of 3D technology, those planning to build or renovate can easily access the information they require to see how their home could come to life."
HIA represents a network of over 40,000 building professionals Australia-wide. It provides its members with the latest industry advice, ongoing training and support and commits them to ethical and high-quality services.
HIA members include builders, carpenters and joiners, bricklayers, plasterers, ceramic tilers, roofing contractors, painters, electricians, as well as kitchen and bathroom specialists. The centre, which will reopen on June 1, showcases the best of the home, lifestyle and building sector.
