WALLSEND captain Nathan Price has credited gully fieldsman Cameron Burt with a crucial save that kept the Tigers in the game and saw them claim first-innings points just two balls later.

Burt cut off what would have been the winning runs for Toronto at Ron Hill Oval on Saturday, helping Wallsend stay one ahead of the Kookaburras and eventually jumping into the Newcastle District Cricket Association top four.
"Two balls before we got the last wicket they glided one through the slips but our gully dove full stretch and stopped it one handed," Price said.
"If it goes through, they get two [runs] and it's game over. It was a big play."
Toronto resumed at 9-124 on day two of the round-seven fixture, 18 runs shy of Wallsend's total (142) from last weekend.
Kookaburras captain Adrian Chad came in at No.11, substituting for the not out batsman after missing day one at the NSW Country Championships.
Chad and Matthew Clarke got the score to 141. Toronto fell one short when Clarke was caught by Price at second slip off the bowling of Pat Magann (4-46).
"It got to that point when the game was going to end, one way or the other, that over," Price said.
"To create the chance, then take the catch and take the win - it was a pretty cool moment.
"It'd had been a long week knowing they were nine down and that it was game on straight away."
Wallsend batted the next 65 overs and were 7-203 when stumps were called.
