A MAN has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a woman in a public reserve on the Central Coast.

About 9am on Sunday a 33-year-old woman was walking towards the St. Johns Lookout at Mount Elliot within the Katandra Reserve when she noticed a man walking along the same path.
He overtook the woman a short time later before she observed the man with his pants down exposing himself.
The woman sought help from nearby walkers and contacted police.
Brisbane Water police commenced inquiries into the incident.
Following extensive inquiries, about 10.15am Tuesday, police - with the assistance of the dog unit - attended the reserve and spoke with a 50-year-old man at a makeshift campsite.
He was arrested and taken to Gosford police station where he was charged with carry out sexual act with another without consent and willful and obscene exposure in/near public place/school.
He appeared at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday where he was given bail to reappear on April 15 2021.
