Keeping On led from box seven and went well clear in the 520m 5th grade race before holding on for a quarter-length win ahead of the fast-finishing Silver Image.
The $14 chance was having his first start for Ivers after coming to his kennels from John Callaughan.
Richmond Vale trainer Jason Mackay was another winner on the Wentworth Park meeting with a recent addition to his kennels.
Impress Shades, which had won his first three starts for Heddon Greta trainer Daniel Flanagan after coming from Victoria, made it back-to-back victories at Wentworth Park.
Like last week, Impress Shades overcame early checks to storm back and win over 520m. He made up four lengths to surge to the lead around the final turn and win by 1.5 lengths.
Mackay was also a winner at Richmond on Sunday when Straight Shift stormed to a four-length victory over 330m. It was his third win in his past four starts.
At The Gardens meeting on Saturday night, Ivers won with Redeem A Prize. Londonderry trainer Chris Carl had a double with Byron Breeze and Oil And Water.
