"Finally get to say I am an Olympian," Davies posted on social media after the event.
"This season has been crazy and although it's not the end, I am still so proud I have come this far.
"Thank you to everyone for all your kind messages. I'm so excited for what's next."
Davies, in her first taste of overseas competition, ran a personal best 15:08.48 in the Netherlands in May to qualify and was later selected in the Aussie team.
