YOU could be forgiven for thinking a visit to Honeysuckle's Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe would be all about chocolate. The harbourside eatery, however, also serves a hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Just make sure you leave room for dessert! Below is a selection of the cafe's menu.
Breakfast: Daily fresh Belgian handmade pastries served with Guylian chocolate dip $5; fruit bowl $8; ham and cheese croissant $9; Guylian granola with natural yoghurt, stewed fruits and honey $12.50; smashed avocado with tomatoes and Persian feta on toasted sourdough $16.50; three-egg omelette with spinach, gruyere and cheddar cheese $16.50.
Lunch and dinner: Belgian baguettes: Tasmanian smoked salmon, shaved fennel, radish and wild rocket $15; Guylian Club: poached chicken breast, iceberg lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese and mayonnaise $14.50; cherry tomatoes, avocado and gouda cheese with endive lettuce, basil and lemon $14.50. Belgian salads: caesar salad $17.50; smoked salmon and avocado $18. Cheese platter $21.50; seasonal quiche $12.50; savoury Belgian waffles: Croque Monsieur $17; smoked salmon $17.
