THE No-Fi Collective crew are renown for throwing one hell of a party, but the latest shindig could well be their most audacious.
On July 7 the Newcastle indie collective will “Shut Down” the Cambridge Hotel with a line-up headlined by locals acts Raave Tapes and Vacations, plus Melbourne punks Press Club and Sydney’s electronic four-piece Haiku Hands.
All three rooms of the Cambridge will be pumping out live music on a massive bill that also includes Totty (Wollongong), Stumps (Sydney), Candy (Melbourne) and Newcastle acts Pals, Fritz, e4444e, Grace Turner, NTL Landmarks, Morgana Osaki, Belle Badi and Gooch Palms’ Leroy Macqueen doing a DJ set.
Raave Tapes’ headline appearance will be the final date of their national tour to support their latest single Suds. The tour kicks off on Saturday at Perth’s Amplifier.
Expect to hear several brand new tracks the three-piece have written for a yet-to-be-recorded EP.
