Fresh from winning a Commonwealth Gold medal with the Australian Opals, Ebzery has signed a two-year deal with the Perth Lynx.
“I want to contribute in every way possible,” Ebzery said. “I play hard and love playing team basketball, so fans can expect to see me hustling on defence, diving on balls, finding my team mates in transition and playing my own attacking style of offense.
“I like to push the ball and attack the basket as much as possible, and I think that there are a lot of opportunities to do that in Andy Stewart’s system.”
Ebzery has spent seven of the past eight seasons playing for the Sydney Flames.
After spending a short stint in the Russian Premier League with Dynamo Moscow, she returned to the WNBL last season and led the league in assists (5.1 per game) and finished in the top-10 in scoring with 13.1 points per game.
