NORTH Construction and Building is changing its leadership guard, with long-standing managing director Tim Cornish set to exit the post and director Matthew Cook stepping up.
Mr Cornish is leaving the firm after 25 years, while Mr Cook takes the top post after starting with North in 2001.
Estimating manager Ray Millar and senior project manager John Melvin will both take on director roles.
Mr Cornish said the change was “an opportunity to strengthen the resolve of the business to lead the industry in this region”.
The business has 95 full-time staff and offices in Tuggerah and Broadmeadow.
Its projects are focused on schools, aged care, medical, commercial and public buildings and its clients include Downer EDI, for the Newcastle Light Rail Project.
