
A woman has been charged after she was allegedly found with drugs, with an estimated street value of $12,000, in her underwear.
Police allege the 44-year-old was carrying heroin when Newcastle Police District officers arrested her at Wahroonga, in Sydney’s north west, about 11pm Monday.
The woman was charged with a string of drug-related offences, including five counts of supplying a prohibited drug, ongoing supply, possessing an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug and driving whilst disqualified.

She has been refused bail and is due to face Hornsby Local Court on Tuesday.
Following the woman’s arrest, investigators raided a home on Cardiff Road, Wallsend, and seized a mobile phone, scales, bags, cash and cannabis.
The arrest came as part of Strike Force Sleepy, which was formed in July to investigated drug supply – particularly heroin – in the Wallsend area.
