GATESHEAD photographer and accused serial sex offender Allan Todd Cameron stood in the vast glass box that runs along one wall of Newcastle District Court on Thursday and, for the best part of five minutes, repeated the same two words.

Not guilty.
Thirty counts in all, including nine charges of sexual intercourse without consent, relating to 12 young women, who claim they were assaulted while modelling for Mr Cameron at his Gateshead studio, a shed out the back of his home, between 2010 and 2017.
Mr Cameron, who is represented by barrister John O'Sullivan and solicitor Chris O'Brien, will face an estimated four-week trial in February, 2020.
Mr Cameron, who until a few months before his arrest ran glamour photography company Primeval Edge and claimed to have done hundreds of photo shoots since 2009, was arrested in October, 2017, after three women went to police and made allegations of sexual and indecent assault against him.
But once news of his arrest circulated, there was an avalanche of young women who came forward to make similar allegations, according to court documents.
In one case at Gateshead, the alleged victim told detectives she began modeling for Mr Cameron when she was a teenager, but it wasn't until she was an adult that she began posing nude.
The woman claims she became more trusting of Mr Cameron and he gradually became more affectionate.
At one shoot in 2012, Mr Cameron is accused of photographing the woman's genitals and breasts while she was getting changed.
He is then accused of rubbing the woman's vagina and sexually assaulting her.
