A MAN has died in a motorbike crash in Lake Macquarie, police say.

The body of the man and his motorbike were found down an embankment off George Booth Drive at Seahampton just after 7.30am on Anzac Day, NSW Police said.
A crime scene has been established and specialist forensic officers are examining the scene. The man was yet to be formally identified.
Investigators would like to speak to any witnesses to the accident or anyone who may be able help with establishing the rider's movements.
Motorists who were travelling in the area overnight are asked to review their dash cam footage and provide any vision of relevance to local police.
