Rio Olympian and former Hunter Sports High School student Williams will line-up for the NSW Pride, one of seven new franchises replacing state bodies in the traditional Australian Hockey League.

"Bringing the men and women under the same umbrella is exciting because that hasn't happened before," the 23-year-old told Hockey One media on Friday.
Williams is sidelined with a knee injury and missed last week's 5-1 win over New Zealand in Auckland.
She also won't feature in away trips against Argentina on Saturday and the US next weekend.
