The Maitland trio will face off against their former club in round four of Newcastle Rugby League with both sides coming off losses before the representative break.
It will be Anderson's first time wearing black and white in seniors while facing off with the Bulldogs, who he played for prior to stints with the Knights, Penrith Panthers and most recently Queensland Cup team the Redcliffe Dolphins.
Grainger, who has been named this week as hooker for the Pickers following a broken cheekbone to Shay Padberg, joined Maitland in 2017 from Kurri.
Lock Cronin, who represented Malta with his younger brother Jesse last year, arrived at the Pickers this season. He was part of the Bulldogs' finals run in 2013 and fractured his eye socket late in 2018.
* MACQUARIE winger Matt Hay (groin) will miss the next two games injured after representing the Newcastle Rebels on the weekend.
Hay will be replaced by Sam Abraham, who plays alongside his cousin and former NRL player Dan for the second time this season.
* LAKES, now officially under the stewardship of Lyndon Sheppard following a recent coach swap for outgoing Glenn Agland, get back the services of five-eighth Jack Kelly against Macquarie at Cahill Oval on Sunday following knee surgery.
* SEVEN junior Knights will play for Harold Matthews Cup against NSW Country under 16s in Penrith on Friday.
Fletcher Myers, Jonah Pezet, Noah Reed, Noah Nailagoliva, Oryn Keely, Max Bradbury and Lachlan Crouch were named in the side after helping Newcastle clinch the title earlier this month.
