BEACH WATCH

Clean offshore conditions to continue for today though there will be a drop in swell.Better waves on the mid morning low tide with some good new banks that have formed over the past week. Swell from the South at around 1m. Winds light to moderate N/W to West. Out going tide for the early and check out South Bar, Dixon and Pogos. Merewether has a shorebreak and try Cowrie on high. Dudley, Redhead and Catho to the south. Samurai and One Mile up at Port Stephens. A lot of kelp and kungi washed up at Merewether. The other patrolled beaches of Nobbys and Bar Beach are clean and clear in. Water temp 20C. - Dave Anderson
