Knights captain Mitchell Pearce says David Klemmer is now the best frontrower in the game and the player to lead the NSW Blues to consecutive Origin series wins in Sydney on Wednesday week after his remarkable return from injury against the Brisbane Broncos on Saturday night.

Just three weeks after he broke his wrist in Origin I, Klemmer stood out like a beacon against a representative-laced Broncos forward pack to help lay the groundwork for the Knights' 26-12 triumph.
Despite losing fullback Kalyn Ponga to injury before the game, the Knights led 18-0 at halftime and survived a case of the wobbles early in the second half before a late Mason Lino try wrapped up an important win.
Lino came into the side at five-eighth with Kurt Mann starting at fullback with both playing prominent roles in the victory.
Klemmer played the opening 48 minutes straight with a further 15 minute stint late in the game, running for 205 metres and finishing with a game-high 42 tackles without a miss.
"Klem's just unbelievable," Pearce said after the game.
"To do what he did tonight off the back of his injury against a big-name Broncos pack was awesome. He's the best prop in the game right now. For a big man, he has a huge motor and he is just always there, telling you he wants the ball and getting us on the front foot. I can't wrap the bloke enough."
Klemmer was full of praise for the Knights medical staff for his lightning return from the wrist fracture.
"I've been training pretty hard and our physios Louisa [Cutler] and Phil Bosson have done a tremendous job to get me back playing and confident again so credit to those guys because they had to put up with my frustrations," he said.

Klemmer revealed he is likely to have a pain-killing injection in his hand for the "next six or seven weeks" to get him through games with his wrist likely to need surgery at the end of the season.
"It's part of footy. I still needle my [damaged] finger so it's all good," he said.
Klemmer seems certain to be named on Monday in the NSW squad for Origin III along with Tim Glasby in the Maroons side with prop Daniel Saifiti and Pearce potential Blues inclusions. If all four are selected, it will mean a big reshuffle to the team for next Saturday's clash against the Warriors at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Ponga has already been ruled out for two weeks with a calf strain while luckless winger Edrick Lee broke his arm against the Broncos and faces an even longer stint on the sideline. Knights coach Nathan Brown said Ponga risks being sidelined for five or six weeks if he was to go into Maroons camp and suffer further damage. Hooker Danny Levi will come straight back into the starting side for the Warriors after overcoming an ankle injury while Jacob Saifiti is also a likely inclusion. Aidan Guerra lasted only a few minutes of Sunday's NSW Cup clash after failing his HIA while young winger Starford Toa sustained an ankle injury.
