Sangha, who hasn't featured for the Blues in any format so far this summer, was named on Friday in the 13-man state squad for two upcoming One-Day Cup matches.
NSW are scheduled to play Victoria at the MCG on Sunday and Tasmania in Hobart on Wednesday with six players, including Steve Smith and David Warner, unavailable because of Test duties with the Australian team.
The 20-year-old was a regular in the Blues' XI for Sheffield Shield last summer and made his Big Bash League debut for the Sydney Thunder in December.
Any potential appearance would mark Sangha's first One-Day Cup game for NSW, but he has previously played in the competition as part of a Cricket Australia XI.

The former national under-19 captain is coming off back-to-back centuries, having made 135 for Randwick-Petersham in Sydney first grade and 105 for ACT-NSW Country in second XI.
Sangha represented the Prime Minister's XI in a T20 fixture against Sri Lanka in Canberra last month.
