The 30-year-old, who arrived home at Coal Point on Sunday following celebrations at the finish line 24 hours earlier, wants to continue his journey with the Comanche crew following his maiden crown in Australia's premier sailing event.
Langford, on board Comanche for a second straight campaign, and his teammates bounced back in 2019 after being narrowly beaten in the closing stages of the race 12 months ago.
SPORTING DECLARATION: The whistleblower and the Sydney to Hobart challenge
"I've got no plans of stopping," Langford told the Newcastle Herald.
"It was such a buzz being back in the race again. The start is such a highlight because of how many people are there [in Sydney] and the atmosphere.
"So it's not a matter of ticking that box and never doing it again. There's always things you can do better, be it the boat or the team. We already want to do it again next year and win back that title."
Langford said the victory "was right up there as one of the things you want to achieve in your sailing career". He said a deliberate push in the "12 hours beforehand" to arrive at the River Derwent as early as possible "set up" the result.
Comanche stopped the clock on Saturday morning after one day, 18 hours, 30 minutes and 24 seconds.
Meanwhile, Ichi Ban looks set to clinch Sydney to Hobart handicap honours for a second time in three years.
The leading Hunter boat Frantic, owned and skippered by Mick Martin, finished 30th overall in a time of three days, one hour, 53 minutes and 27 seconds. The TP52 was also 11th in IRC division one as of Sunday at 5pm.
Fellow Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club entrant Mako was placed 76th for line honours and set to dock overnight along with Dare Devil (99th), She's The Culprit (100th), Santana (139th), Rogue Wave (148th) and Wonderland (152nd).
