The woman, who wants to remain anonymous said she would to spoil her mum after discovering she won the first prize in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw on Tuesday afternoon.
A NSW Lotteries official broke the news to the woman, who was completely oblivious to her win.
"How do I know you're actually from NSW Lotteries? Are you sure you're not a sophisticated hacker or this isn't some kind of prank?" she questioned.
"Holy dooley! Wow! Oh my god! Woo-hoo! I am absolutely stunned! Completely stunned! Gosh I can't wait to call my family, and my boss, and friends! I can't wait to tell everyone!"
While she would be putting most of her prize in the bank, the ecstatic woman shared she did have a few things she wanted to do with it first, according to a NSW Lotteries statement.
"I have been wanting to buy a car. Now I actually will be able to get one and I won't have to get a loan," she laughed.
"I want to take my mum on a holiday too. I am not sure where, I will let her pick. And tonight, I am going to take my mum out for a nice dinner so that we can celebrate. What a fantastic call to answer, thank you!"
