NSW Health figures to 8pm on Tuesday revealed there were 276 cases in the region.
The figure is a revision after the Hunter began to plateau at 277 cases last week, and will hearten health authorities that their efforts to prevent COVID-19 spreading are taking hold.
Four people have died from coronavirus in the Hunter while 232 have recovered.
The continued run of no new cases identified will give doctors and nurses heart as they push harder to test more residents in the region to ensure cases are not flourishing out of sight.
Testing is expected to increase in Newcastle from Friday with a McDonald Jones Stadium drive-through clinic opening. The temporary clinic is designed to help stamp out any undiscovered cases in the community.
Statewide 257,852 people have been tested and excluded, with 3042 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
2418 of those confirmed cases have recovered.
Hunter police issued no fines in the Hunter for breaking coronavirus directions in the most recent data.
