It's a common denominator - which sometimes isn't well-received - but it seems even in times of a global pandemic it's a subject bound to get people talking.
What is it? Dog poo.
It seems parts of north-west Tasmania have a noticeable problem on their hands (well, feet actually) as COVID-19 exercisers have been called out for the excessive increase in what has been called "abandoned discharges" - from their canine companions, of course.
One walker said she had picked up a record 42 doggie deposits in a single day along a three kilometre stretch of coastal pathway.
"It was vile," Teeny Brumby told The Advocate. And who could disagree.
Here's hoping your sidestep is working well on your (now more than ever) regular walks or that you have a responsible dog-loving community which spares you the trouble.
