Swell hit in a big way and conditions to be even bigger today.Double low pressure system just to the south and winds to stay offshore during the morning but strong at times. Only few surfers to handle the conditions with the south facing reefs providing the better waves. Swell from the South to S/E at 3 to 5m. Wind Strong West to S/W. Beach breaks closing out and Merewether off the third reef sure to have some big bowling rights. Try the harbour on the run out tide. Dudley and Blacksmiths breakwater to the south. Seals Rocks to the north to offer some protection. Onshore Sunday and big. Dangerous swimming conditions with strong sweeps. Water temp 18C. - Dave Anderson
