Police said the 28-year-old allegedly reversed a Nissan Elgrand into a police vehicle three times near Gosford on May 24.
It came after officers tried to stop the vehicle because the man was allegedly driving erratically. The officers in the police car were not injured.
Police arrested the man at a home north of Shellharbour on Saturday.
He was refused bail by police and faces a range of charges.
