The state announced 113 new COVID-19 on Thursday morning, continuing a promising downward trend.
116 cases were recorded on Monday, 148 on Tuesday and 149 on Wednesday.
23 people also died due to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
It is the third most deaths recorded in a 24-hour period in the state.
It takes the total amount of people who have died due to the virus in the state to 485.
More information in regard to the number of cases in regional Victoria is expected later this afternoon.
On Wednesday, there were still two active cases in Horsham and one active case in Ararat.
No active cases were reported in the Northern Grampians Shire, West Wimmera, or the Yarriambiack and Hindmarsh shires.
