Rory Walker scored a season-best six goals in Thursday night's victory as Norths continued their climb up the Hunter Coast Premier Hockey League (HCPHL) ladder.
The Blues striker was prolific as the third-placed men's team beat Uni 13-0 at Newcastle International Hockey Centre (NIHC).
Ky Willott also bagged a hat-trick for Norths. Brandon Laurens, Mitch Brown, Shawn Fraser and Ben Martin were the others to find the back of the net.
This completed a 19-day period where the Blues played six times, recording four wins against three different opponents and two losses to frontrunners Gosford.
Norths now have the bye this Sunday before meeting Souths (September 20) and Wests twice (September 24, 27) in the space of a week later this month.

The second-ranked Lions accounted for Wests 6-1 in Thursday night's other fixture at NIHC with Angus Abbo landing a double.
