That is why the Knights coach had no hesitation in resting co-captain Jayden Brailey for the must-win clash against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium tonight.
Brailey suffered a head knock in the win over the Raiders on Sunday. And although he passed a head injury assessment and played out the game, O'Brien has erred on the side of caution.
"I don't feel any unease in giving Jayden a rest and bringing Randy in," O'Brien said. "That is not understating what Brails gives us. He has played every game bar 30 minutes this year ... to ask him to play in the middle, that would be a test with a four-day turnaround.
