The teenage centre was in some distress in the dressing room immediately after the win despite getting through the full 80 minutes against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium with initial fears he may have suffered a collarbone fracture.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital but x-rays later cleared him of any damage.
"Braddie was finding it a bit hard to breathe after the game so they took him in to check it out," Knights coach Adam O'Brien said. "They thought it was something collarbone-related but he had x-rays and they were all clear so that was good news. He'll be fine."
O'Brien told the Newcastle Herald the club is waiting to learn the extent of back-rower Lachlan Fitzgibbon's shoulder injury following scans on Friday.
Fitzgibbon, back in the side after being axed a fortnight ago, left the field late in the game clutching at his right shoulder, the same one he had reconstructed during in the off-season.
"He's subluxed the shoulder I think but I don't know at this stage how bad it is," O'Brien said. "It's the same shoulder he had surgery on in the pre-season. Hopefully, he'll be okay and can continue on. I thought he played strongly Fitzy and he's responded well to being left out of the squad a few weeks ago."
While O'Brien conceded his side still has plenty to work on, not the least their finish to games after leaking points during that period over the past two weeks, the coach could not fault the players' attitude.
"Four competition points in four days, given what's on the line, after spending eight hours on a bus during that period - I can't complain about that," O'Brien said. "The few days we had leading in, the boys were spot on with what we had to do prep-wise so I was proud of the way we came through it.
"We only had a 15 minute field session with the ball leading into the game after the Canberra win. I think that probably showed in the first 20 minutes. We looked like strangers out there a bit at times and things were a bit clunky with the footy.
"But the boys still found a way to get it done and that was all I wanted from them.
"We could have used the quick turnaround as an excuse but the boys didn't even mention it. They just go on with it.
"That's a real positive from being up here together in isolation. I think the professionalism of the whole group has really improved being here together."
Among the positives, back-rower Tyson Frizell had his best game for the club while their three big boppers up front, Daniel and Jacob Saifiti and David Klemmer were prominent.
Daniel Saifiti produced a game-high 206 metres from 20 carries in 63 minutes while Klemmer again made a good impact from the bench with 185 metres in 42 minutes.
The return of halfback Mitchell Pearce also proved pivotal. In his first game in a month, Pearce ran for almost 100 metres, made 20 tackles and scored a try.
Winger Hymel Hunt failed his HIA after leaving the field with concussion after just 18 minutes against Brisbane. But with a 10-day turnaround leading into the Sharks clash, he is expected to play.
Hooker and co-captain Jayden Brailey will return against the Sharks.
