At No 1 Sportsground, Terrigal Avoca jumped two games clear on top of the ladder after dominating Newcastle City by 62 points, 18.11 (119) to 8.9 (57).
Warners Bay finally broke the drought with an exciting come-from-behind six-point win over Nelson Bay at Feighan Oval, 16.14 (110) to 14.20 (104).
It was the Bulldogs first win of the season, after a couple of close early season losses.
At Rose Point Park, Killarney Vale had little trouble disposing of Singleton, 13.19 (97) to 8.2 (50).
Cardiff had the bye.
In First Division, Newcastle City flexed their muscles with a 26-point win over leaders Wyong Lakes and Maitland showed they were a force to be reckoned with after a 30-point win over Terrigal Avoca.

In the night game, Killarney Vale held off Lake Macquarie.
