A MAN has suffered suspected spinal injuries after a motorcycle accident in Sawyers Gully on Monday.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was flying the man to the John Hunter Hospital shortly before 5.30pm.
A rescue helicopter spokesman said the 28-year-old was attempting a jump on a dirt bike in an area around an old quarry.
He suffered multiple injuries and was reported to be in a stable condition.
