THIEVES have broken into a West Wallsend business stolen its amphibian utility, an engine and several other items.

Police were called to a business on Wakefield Road, West Wallsend about 7.15am on Monday, January 23 following reports of a stealing.
Initial investigation suggest that sometime between 4pm on Friday, January 20 and 7am on Monday, January 23 an unknown number of people have broken into a business.
Once inside the business, they have stolen a 2012 yellow Argo amphibian utility vehicle, an engine and several other items.
Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Target Action Group attended and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
Police are appealing to anyone who have information in relation to the incident or have seen a yellow Argo Amphibian vehicle with Queensland registration 18443C to contact police.
