The Maccabiah Games is an international Jewish athletic event, similar to the Olympics, held in Israel every four years.
The Gunners shot-stopper played with the Great Britain football team and was only 90 seconds away from claiming a gold medal for the Old Dart.
In the final Britain led Argentina 1-0 before an injury-time goal put the South Americans level.
The final eventually went to a penalty shoot-out and Goldman saved the first and fourth attempts to keep the Brits in the match, before the Argentines claimed victory.
It was the Australian's second appearance for Britain at the Maccabiah Games, having represented the side in 2005.
"I got involved with them [Britain] four years ago when I was playing over there and they located me, and this year they rang up at the beginning of the year and asked if I was interested," Goldman said.
Four years ago Britain reached the quarter-finals before going down to Brazil.
Former Charlton Athletic and Fulham mentor Les Reed coached the side.
Goldman recorded three clean sheets during the tournament.
Britain had a 1-all draw with Argentina, 2-1 loss to France and a 2-0 win over Brazil in the group stage.
They beat the USA 2-0 in the quarter-finals and prevented the Israel under 20s from reaching the final for the first time by downing them 1-0 in the semi-final.
