WHILE he might be better known as Mr Pink, motocross champion Carey Hart showed that he's got his own legion of dedicated fans yesterday.Pop-star Pink played the second of four Newcastle shows on her Funhouse Tour last night, and her hubby Hart has also come to the city for the second stop on his Hart and Huntington Freestyle Tour. While he didn't ride after suffering an injury during practice for the tour, Hart signed autographs for fans as other riders wowed the crowd with an array of tricks and flips. The tour was scheduled to take place at weekends, but Hart said close friend and two-time world supercross champion Chad Reed convinced him to include Newcastle in his program."After speaking with Chad I decided we couldn't leave Newcastle off the schedule so we worked with the venue and came up with a special afternoon show," Hart said.Hart also managed to stop by Newcastle High School yesterday and spoke to about 100 year 9 students about motivation and goal-setting.
