Low pressure moving slowly out into the Tasman and fresh onshore winds again for today. Surf to remain choppy and windswept with not much protection locally.
Swell from the SSE at 2 to 2.5m. Wind South and stronger early before easing late afternoon. The banks are starting to change with sand coming out of the southern corners.
Try Nobbys Bank towards the mid day low. Stockton and Seals Rocks to the north.Blacksmiths and south Catho further down the coast. Merewether on the late afternoon incoming tide.
Patrolled beaches are likely to be closed or have dangerous surf signs up. Sweeps running to the north and best to swim at ocean bathes. Water temp 19C.
