
A girl has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car at Mt Hutton
A nine-year-old girl has suffered abdominal injuries after being struck by a car at Mt Hutton on Friday morning.
NSW Ambulance were called to Dunkley Parade near Warners Bay Road just after 8.20am, where they treated the girl for injuries sustained in a low- to medium-speed collision.
An Ambulance spokesperson said the girl was in a relatively stable condition on transfer to hospital.
A Lake Macquarie Police crew was also called to the scene. A spokesperson described the girl's injuries as minor.
The girl was taken by Ambulance to John Hunter Hospital, where she is understood to be in a stable condition.
