The Lakes forward returns home on Thursday morning after a three-week stint in the United Kingdom representing Scotland at the Student Four Nations tournament.
Glohe, under the University of Newcastle banner, scored a try against hosts Wales in Scotland’s 23-16 victory at Sardis Road in Pontypridd on July 19.
Scotland, whose only loss was 58-18 to eventual champions England in the tournament opener two days earlier, finished runner-up after accounting for Ireland 44-12 on Monday.
Glohe’s comeback this weekend for Newcastle Rugby League frontrunners Lakes has been well timed.
It comes with Seagulls prop Roman Fepulai suspended for Sunday’s encounter against Cessnock at Cahill Oval after taking the early guilty plea on Wednesday for a low-grade, high-tackle charge.
The incident, described as reckless/careless, occurred in the 28th minute of Sunday’s 22-12 win over Kurri Kurri at home in Belmont.
With a prior clean record Fepulai now misses just the one match, rather than the base penalty of two, meaning he is available for round 14 against Central at St John Oval on August 12.
Lakes coach Todd Edwards, who has yet to announce where he will mentor next year, can swap Fepulai with Glohe.
However, the Seagulls are bolstered by the return of centre pairing Jacob Gagai and Josh Charles from Knights’ NSW Cup duties and a calf injury respectively.
