Newcastle charities and not-for-profit groups urged to apply for grant funding from Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation

The current funding round opened on Monday and closes on October 29.   

Charitable Foundation executive officer Graham Batten urged all eligible local community-based, not-forprofit and Deductable Gift Recipient organisations seeking funding for projects and initiatives to make a submission. 

“We invite all charity organisations in the Hunter seeking support for projects that address important community issues to apply for a grant from the Charitable Foundation,” he said.  “We are looking for projects that support our mission to help people who are disadvantaged or marginalised.”
