It takes a special kind of journalist to write sport. One that doesn’t just cope under pressure, but goes looking for it.
“I love it when you’re at a sports game and you’ve got to file to deadline, and you have your adrenaline pumping and you’re not sure if you are going to get your story or not,” Renee Valentine says.
“You have to want to do that.”
