The tournament will feature six teams competing over six hours of action-packed, old-school rugby league.
They’ll be playing for a share of $100,000 prize money.
A percentage of the gate takings will also go to the Mark Hughes Foundation.
Central Coast mayor Jane Smith said council was pleased to sponsors a tournament that would provide such a boost for the stadium and the Central Coast.
“Due to the success of last year’s event, we are confident there will be a lot of support for the tournament this year, and I am looking forward to seeing members of the Central Coast community come out and rally behind these old-school league champions,” Cr Smith said.
“We are hopeful that it will become a regular item on the stadium’s calendar, and we will continue to invest in upgrades to the stadium to ensure it continues to attract big name events – such as Legends of League – for our community to enjoy.”
Also among the players returning for their second year will be Andrew Ryan, Gorden Tallis, Willie Mason, Scott Prince, Matt Bowen, Luke Patten, Tonie Carroll, Roy Asotasi, Darren Albert and Nathan Blacklock.
Gates at Central Coast Stadium, Gosford, will open at noon on Saturday, November 17.
