The owners have announced the small cafe near Hamilton Station will be close permanently this weekend, with the final brews to be served on Sunday, December 16.
The news has prompted a wave of messages of love, support and sadness on social media for the owners and staff of the popular Beaumont Street spot.
Head barista Kim Westerhold told the Newcastle Herald on Monday the business owners planned to start a new adventure in Sydney after they were not offered a new long-term lease.

Ms Westerhold said everyone involved with Rolador, including the seven staff members, were “heartbroken” at the turn of events.
She said the “daily conversations and laughs will be missed a lot”.
“We were always close with our customers, we have actually formed many friendships over the years as well,” Ms Westerhold said.
“Highlights, there were so many. Seeing kids grow up at Rolador, all our regular furry friends that have been visiting throughout the years, our dress-up days, how close-knit the staff always were and how well we always got on with managers and owners.
“All the love we have been receiving over the last couple of days just goes to show how much of a difference you can make to people’s lives with something as simple as a delicious coffee and a good chat.”
