The Magpies pair are back to line-up against Souths at Broadmeadow in round seven of the Hunter Coast Premier Hockey League.
Gosford, who had a 3-all draw with Wests last start, are now on equal billing with Souths (9 points) on the competition ladder.
The Magpies will be down Lee Cormack (unavailable) and junior representative Michael Taylor (under-18 NSW Championships).
Souths, coming off a 5-1 loss to leaders Norths, are without Seb Rollings, Jay Bisson, Archie Nelmes and Nathan Czinner (under-18 NSW Championships) as well as Darby Chalmers and Cameron Thornton.
Play starts at 3pm.
Also at Newcastle International Hockey Centre on Sunday will be winless University and Wests (1:30pm), who lose Argentinean import Federico Bertoni.
The Rams host Norths at Maitland on Sunday (1:30pm).
In the women's premier league on Saturday, Oxfords have Souths (12:30pm), Central take on Regals (1:45pm) and Gosford visit Uni (3pm). Tigers are away to The Entrance (2:15pm).
